The Cunard experience.

Delight is in the details.
White Star Service.
Our attentive crew take great pride in making your stay on board unforgettable. From the very first greeting when you embark, to the way your stateroom steward greets you by name, we believe great service is warm and sincere. It isn't stuffy. It isn't hurried. It's always friendly, but never over familiar. This is the famous Cunard White Star Service.
Our magnificent fleet.
Your choice of three exceptional ships comprises Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria, and Queen Mary 2, the flagship. Grand in scale and stylish down to the tiniest detail, each is a world unto herself. A place of discovery and relaxation, and the perfect setting from which to visit your favourite destinations or explore new lands.
Signature Cunard experiences.
If you haven't sailed with us before, you'll soon become accustomed to certain aspects of the cruise that are uniquely Cunard. Guests are invited to experience everything from our famous Afternoon Tea to our spectacular gala balls.
A breath of fresh air.
Cunard ships have been crossing the Atlantic to and from New York since 1847, when we began the first regular service. Today only Queen Mary 2 regularly makes this journey. To embark upon a timeless Transatlantic Crossing aboard our magnificent flagship is to set aside the demands of everyday life, and surrender to the rhythms of dining, discovering, mingling and relaxing. There are, of course, many quicker ways to cross the Atlantic, but none finer. Cunard also pioneered luxury world cruising in 1922 - and we've been refining it ever since. Your voyage has been carefully considered to ensure a truly unforgettable blend of iconic, world-class cities and smaller, less well known but equally delightful destinations. A full World Voyage remains one of life's greatest travel experiences.
Sail with Cunard and you could enjoy unforgettable hosted dinners or 'audiences with...' inspiring speakers and leading performers from around the world. On each ship, the full-sized Royal Court Theatre is the setting for spectacular West End calibre shows and musical productions, along with comedy, dance and drama. You'll also encounter live music performances around the ship, from resident bands to jazz ensembles, classical recitals, singers and soloists.
Unique event cruises.
Cunard will host a number of event cruises in 2018 and 2019, which offer all the benefits of a Cunard cruise along with the exciting opportunity to participate in special events or mark historic milestones. Revel in the glamour of Transatlantic Fashion Week and celebrate the world of fashion on board our flagship liner, Queen Mary 2. Join us on Queen Elizabeth for our hugely popular Big Band Ball cruises, inspired by the iconic big bands of the '20s. Other cruises offer the opportunity to sail with the National Symphony Orchestra, embark on a photography-themed Norwegian adventure, or trace your family tree with the help of Ancestry experts.
A world of possibilities.
Escape to uncrowded spaces.
From the pleasure of a well-placed library armchair with a fine ocean view, the freedom to enjoy a wide variety of restaurant and bar experiences, to the possibility of a revitalising morning run on the promenade deck, throughout our ships you'll find thoughtfully designed open spaces or quiet corners for you to enjoy. Our ships offer more space for you to be you, whether that's relaxing in your spacious stateroom, sampling pre-dinner cocktails in the Commodore Club, or enjoying the conversation over dinner in the Britannia Restaurant.
Freedom of choice.
Yes, we invite guests to dress for dinner, and we think you'll love it. Many sail with Cunard precisely because they love a reason to step out in style. Formal nights usually involve a themed Ball and account for about a third of your evenings on board. On other nights the dress is smart yet relaxed - think jackets but no ties, and cocktail dresses. If you prefer to unwind for the evening and dress more casually, you're welcome to dine in the Lido or Kings Court restaurants and relax in the Carinthia Lounge, Winter Garden, or Garden Lounge, Yacht Club and G32.
Time for you.
Feel everyday concerns slip away as you ease into a day of blissful relaxation. Each sensuous spa on board can lift you to another level of restfulness; frothy whirlpools for luxuriating and vast ocean views in which to get lost. Perhaps the time has come to start that novel; our classes can guide you. Maybe you've always wanted to learn the tango, try fencing, see how to take professional photographs, or possibly meet an astronaut at one of many Insight lectures. Whatever inspires you, it is Cunard's delight to provide it.
A quintessentially British experience, traditional Afternoon Tea is served by white-gloved waiters in the sumptuous surroundings of the Queens Room at 3.30pm daily. Enjoy a selection of Twinings fine leaf teas, finger sandwiches, pastries and scones whilst you listen to performances from a variety of musicians, including a harpist and string quartet
Nights spent aboard a Cunard ocean liner are truly magical, and Royal Nights themed balls are a signature part of that experience. Our gala balls transform an evening on board into a glamorous event, where you can dance to a live orchestra in the elegant Queens Room - the largest ballroom at sea.
Cunard has been sailing from Southampton to New York and back since 1847, when we established the first regular service. Today only Queen Mary 2 regularly makes this journey. Not only does she remain as glamorous and exciting as ever but a Transatlantic Crossing also remains one of travel’s most iconic experiences.
Cunard's award-winning Insights enrichment program is tailor-made to bring popular themes to life and further enhance your voyage with insightful activities, exclusive events and related bespoke shore excursions in selected ports of call. Esteemed experts from fashion icons to NASA astronauts enlighten and entertain on select itineraries across the fleet.
Sail with Cunard and the first point of distinction you may notice is the surprising amount of space on board. From broad open decks to beautifully light atriums, you are equally sure to find yourself a peaceful place as a lively activity. You'll always find somewhere to suit the way you feel. It's your world, to savour in your own way.
West End-calibre shows.
You may anticipate the curtain going up at the Royal Court Theatre for another glittering performance. If you love energetic musical numbers, you’re in the right place too. Equally, stand-up comedy, a magician or a late-night film might make your ideal evening.
